Today, the International Energy Saving Day is celebrated all over the world, the main purpose of which is to draw attention to the use of resources and the development of renewable energy sources.
Within the framework of cooperation between the state-community-UNDP, a program is being implemented in Armenia aimed at heat treatment of buildings, thanks to which heating costs have been reduced in many communities, energy consumption and related emissions have been reduced greenhouse gases.
The program "Reducing the risks of Investments aimed at energy-efficient modernization of buildings" (2017-2023) is implemented by the Armenian office of the United Nations Development Program with funding from the Green Climate Fund under the coordination of the RA Ministry of Environment.
