On the initiative of the Ministry of Environment, on May 7, nationwide tree planting will be carried out throughout the territory of the Republic of Armenia, during which about 15 hectares of forest will be planted in Lori (Tashir Forestry), Aragatsotn ("Aragatsotn Forestry") and Syunik (branch of "Syunik Forestry") regions.
Various organizations of the public and private sector and individual citizens can also take part in the nationwide planting of trees, to whom the SNCO "Armles" of the Forestry Committee will provide free seedlings and the territories where the nationwide planting of trees will be carried out will be designated.
