As part of her business trip to Kenya, Deputy Environment Minister Anna Mazmanyan met with the Director of the Europe Office of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Bruno Pozzi and the Head of Resource Mobilization and Partnership Specialist Ms. Kathy Outer, to discuss the priorities of cooperation in the field of the environment, the roadmap for the next two years and ways to solve existing problems.
In particular, the following issues were raised:

• Preservation of the ecosystem of Lake Sevan and programs aimed at this,
• The problem of water pollution,
• The issue of sustainable waste management and the promotion of cleaner production,
• As well as opportunities to promote "greener" procedures and skills development.

The Oaks agreed to make every possible effort to create a healthier environment as soon as possible.
