Deputy Minister of Environment Gayane Gabrielyan took part in the first discussion of the platform "Growth and Recovery for the Strengthening, Upgrading and Prosperity of Armenia"
Led by Deputy Prime Minister Ambartsum Matevosyan, the World Bank's Regional Director for the South Caucasus Sebastian Molineus, Head of the EU Office in Armenia, Ambassador Andrea Victorin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Sweden to Armenia Patrick Svensson, UNDP Permanent Representative to Armenia Natia Natsvlishvili, RA Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan, as well as other representatives of interested government agencies.
In his speech, the Deputy Prime Minister stressed that the Armenian government highly appreciates such initiatives in terms of summarizing the work done, learning lessons and outlining further steps, and added that Armenia attaches importance to ensuring an inclusive and inclusive process with the active participation of international partners, the private sector, civil society and representatives of the academic community.
During the discussions, the government presented its vision of the transition to a green economy in Armenia and policies related to climate and the environment that will contribute to strengthening Armenia's sustainability.
