The EPMIB informs:
In Jermuk, 7 hectares of forest territories burned as a result of shelling were examined.
As part of the administrative proceedings initiated by the EPMIB, on September 19-20, employees visited the community of Jermuk in the Vayots Dzor region.
Employees of the Inspection Body for the involvement of representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Forestry Committee of the Ministry of the Environment, the Armles National Research and Development Organization, and the OMS conducted an inspection of forest areas that caught fire as a result of artillery shelling on the administrative territory of Jermuk on September 12-15 during the large-scale aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan against the territory of the Republic of Armenia.
About 7 hectares of forest territories were examined.
The amount of damage to nature is calculated.
The materials will be transferred to law enforcement agencies.
