Aviation-chemical measures against forest diseases and pests have embarked on with the funding of the RA state budget.
The measures are performed in "Forestry" branches of the Committee of Forest of "ArmForest" SNCO of  the Ministry of Environment in Kotayk and Aragatsotn region infected with pests and diseases.
Earlier, Acting Minister of Environment Romanos Petrosyan instructed the institutions and subdivisions coordinating the sphere to pool the capacities and technical capabilities of other state administration agencies for this purpose.
Today it has become possible to supervise such measures of struggle. A. Petrosyan, Acting Chairman of the Committee of Forest observed the work process.
Note,  that as a result of spring pathology researches, the area infected with sucking pests and diseases is about 11.575 hectares according to the regions (according to 2019 data - 5400 hectares, according to 2020 data - 6100 hectares).
Attention!
To refrain from poisoning - for 25 days, after the end of the combat measures - the entry of people, animals into the chemically treated areas, gathering of mushrooms, plants, berries is strictly prohibited, as well as the bee colonies were removed from those areas during that period.
