At a joint meeting of the Standing Committees of the National Assembly on Financial, credit and budgetary issues and on issues of territorial administration, local self-government, agriculture and environmental protection on February 10, the current conclusion of the Audit Chamber on the results of the audit of the forest management of the Forestry Committee of the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia and SNCO "Armles" was discussed.
The aim was to evaluate the effectiveness of the process, within its framework, the targeted and expenditure efficiency of the use of state property, including funds allocated from the state budget, as well as on the basis of compliance with the principles of economy:
Environment Minister Hakob Simidyan noted that for the effective operation of the system, it is necessary to create a service that involves 24-hour security.

"As a manager, I formulated the task that if the management plan for any sector is coming to an end, we should start work at the previous stage so that there are no omissions in the deadlines," the minister said:

Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environmental Protection Vahe Galumyan asked about the details of the transition to 24-hour forest control, whether it is possible to increase the salaries of these employees as a result.
In the formulation of questions, the deputies touched upon the planting of new tree species in the forests being created, the work on drawing up forest management plans.
At the end of the meeting, the importance of cooperation between state structures and the Audit Chamber was emphasized.
