In order to promote the works carried out in the field of ecological education in the Republic, as well as to increase the level of eco-education, the activities carried out with schoolchildren continue in the Ministry of Environment.
The representatives of the professional divisions of the Ministry met with the students of Manuel Cajunu High School No. 54 within the Educational Project "17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations" at the State Nature Museum of Armenia.
Welcoming the students, Lilit Galstyan, director of the "State Museum of Nature of Armenia" SNCO, highlighted the importance of the implementation of such initiatives, which are aimed at increasing the role of ecological education and upbringing.
During the meeting, the students presented their views and approaches regarding the problems of Lake Sevan and their solution.
Through a question and answer session, the representatives of the ministry answered the questions of the students.
An agreement was reached to visit the laboratories of the "Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center" SNCO of the Ministry of the Environment, to learn about the used laboratory methods and equipment, to test water quality monitoring.
