The Deputy Minister held a consultation with the staff of the National Park. The meeting was also attended by Acting  Director of "State Museum of Nature of Armenia" SNCO of the Ministry of Environment L. Galstyan and  Head of the Fund Accounting and Preservation Unit L. Ghazaryan.
The issues related to the ecotourism development, new tourist destination development, replenishing with relevant specialists, raising the level of eco-awareness of the population, management of specially protected areas of nature as well as other issues were discussed with the staff of "Sevan" National Park SNCO.
The Deputy Minister stressed that there is a great potential for the development of ecotourism in Armenia, and in order to realize it, mechanisms must be developed for the proper use of the existing territories.
The meeting continued at the Visitor Center of "Sevan" NP SNCO. The existing bottlenecks, the methods of preservation and development of exhibited samples were considered on the spot.
