The number of commercial whitefish hunting in Lake Sevan has been increased by another 300 tons and the hunting period has been extended until November 20 this year, which makes it possible for law-abiding fishermen to carry out commercial whitefish hunting in accordance with established norms.
The basis for the draft decision was additional research conducted by the Scientific Center of Zoology and Hydroecology of the National Academy of Sciences to assess fish stocks in Lake Sevan.
