A dead bezoar goat listed in the Red Book was found

In response to the media reports "poaching in the Khosrov forest. a dead bezoar goat with injuries, listed in the Red Book, was found in the aquifer," we inform the following.
After receiving the information, the employees of the investigation department of the Ararat Police Department, having implemented operational information, immediately went to the scene of the incident.
The Bezoar goat, listed in the Red Book of Animals of the Republic of Armenia, was discovered on the way to the Veda reservoir in the administrative territory of the Urtsadzor community:

The Ministry of Environment condemns this attitude towards animals.
Biodiversity is a natural heritage that needs to be preserved and passed on to future generations, especially given its vital importance and the ecosystem services it provides. We urge you to refrain from illegal actions and preserve the wildlife of Armenia.
We remind you that according to the RA Law "On Tariffs for compensation of damage caused to the animal and plant world due to environmental offenses", in the case of hunting and (or) destruction of a bezoar goat, the tariff for compensation of damage caused to the animal world for each unit (regardless of age) is AMD 3 million.
If major damage is caused as a result of an offense, then the offender is subject to criminal liability under paragraph 4 of part 1 of Article 294 of the relevant code, that is, he is punished with a fine in the amount of four hundred to six hundred times the minimum wage or arrest for a period of 4 to 6 months.
We are all responsible for the protection of the red animal species of Armenia. We must show conscious and compassionate behavior when dealing with nature.
