Every year, this day is celebrated under a special slogan, drawing people's attention to some current topic in this area. The motto of the Meteorologist's Day is "early warning, early action", which emphasizes the importance of meteorological and hydrological information in disaster risk reduction.
The fact that climate change in the face of extreme weather events is already very noticeable in all corners of the world. We are witnessing more intense heats, droughts and forest fires, due to this, adaptation to climate change is one of the priorities of the Republic of Armenia.
On this festive day, I want to emphasize the role and importance of your work in a rapidly changing world. The key to solving the numerous problems facing us is in your hands.
