The Minister of Environment Hakob Simonyan presented the draft law "On Amendments to the Law "On the Targeted Use of Environmental Tax paid by Companies" to the National Assembly for discussion today in the first reading.
The current law regulates, in particular, legal relations related to deductions provided to communities affected by the environmental tax paid by companies that have the most harmful impact on the environment.
There was a need to clearly define the most precise list of environmental and health measures included in programs aimed at solving environmental problems and protecting the environment.
This will allow communities with limited funds to implement the most targeted and targeted programs.
The project received a positive conclusion from the head commission.
