Aviation-chemical combat measures against forest diseases and pests are in progress in Meghradzor, Marmarik, Hankavan, Aghavnadzor and Verin Aghbyurak communities of Kotayk region.
Note, that aviation-chemical fight against forest pests and diseases in branches of the Committee of Forest of the MoE in Kotayk and Aragatsotn regions have embarked on.
The fight against forest pests and diseases is one of the main tasks of the Ministry of Environment. As a result of spring pathology researches, the area infected with sucking pests and diseases is about 11.575 hectares according to the regions (according to 2019 data - 5400 hectares, according to 2020 data - 6100 hectares).
