As part of the enhanced control measures due to the whitefish spawning period, more than 300 kg of whitefish sold on the streets of Yerevan were confiscated
As a result of the measures taken by employees of the Department of Trade and Services of the Yerevan Municipality, cases of whitefish sale were discovered in the capital's administrative districts of Avan, Kentron, Nor Nork and Shengavit in the period from January 11 to 12, 2022.
At the same time, employees of the departments of trade, services and advertising of the Arabkir, Malatia-Sebastia and Shengavit administrative districts of Yerevan discovered and seized 107 kg of 295 whitefish together with the RA Police officers.
Recall that during the whitefish spawning period from December 25 to January 15, criminal liability is provided for illegal hunting.
