An alarm about pollution and garbage removal of the territory adjacent to the community of Spitak in the Lori region

Recently, the Ministry of Environment received a message in which the attached video materials show cases of improper organization of pollution and garbage collection in the territory adjacent to the community of Spitak in the Lori region.
In order to resolve the above issue, on behalf of the Deputy Minister coordinating the sphere, the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia will send relevant letters to the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of RA with a request for assistance through regional administrations to instruct local self-government bodies, guided by the provisions of Article 51 and paragraph 16 of Part 1 of Article 42 of the RA Law "On Local Self-Government", to take measures to protect specially protected natural territories, natural monuments, historical and cultural monuments, and also for the purpose of effective protection of territories adjacent to the natural landscapes loved and most used by the population, and the environment, as well as the implementation of the garbage removal process in these territories at the proper level.
We once again urge and urge our citizens to be more caring and caring towards the environment, in particular, emphasizing the importance of preserving its purity and tirelessness.
