Ahead of the opening of the season of the public beaches of Lake Sevan, Acting Minister of Environment Romanos Petrosyan held a working consultation with the staff of “Sevan” NP.
Prior to proceeding to the agenda items of the meeting, the Acting Minister expressed his dissatisfaction with the results of the work accomplished in the previous months, voiced  harsh assessments: some employees were severely reprimanded, another employee was dismissed.
There is a strict imperative to increase the efficiency of the activity of "Sevan" national park. The analysis of the results of implemented activities have shown that there is an essential to review and amend the working style, the application of the necessary administration.
"Those not sharing our vision of institutionalizing "Sevan" national park, serving the interests of the state and the citizen, can not continue their path with us," said the Acting Minister.
Romanos Petrosyan again referred to the priorities of the problems set in "Sevan" National Park, issuing a number of instructions to those responsible:
Be watchful of  the disciplinary norms established for the areas during the entire activity of public beaches.
Properly organize and supervise garbage disposal in areas։
Stand ready to organize the clean-up of the forest layer of the shoreline areas, below the defined mark, and subject to flooding, by new, more powerful technical means (Earlier, taking consideration the clean-ups of forest plantations covered with water supervised by the contractor  was assessed inefficient, thus the Ministry of Environment initiated addressing the bottleneck directly through "Sevan" NP SNCO. For this purpose, a corresponding draft has been developed, which envisages redistribution of 208.238.5 AMD envisaged for "Clean-up of forest plantations covered with water of Lake Sevan"  event by the 2021 state budget, within the framework of which it is envisaged to acquire relevant  specialized apparatus. The draft will be soon submitted to the Government).
