8 cases of removal and transportation of the fertile soil layer have been found out

The RA Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body informs:
With regard to the targeted and effective use of the fertile layer of the earth, the staff of the Inspection Body for the Protection of Nature and Subsoil carried out weekly, round-the-clock control work.
During the tours in Kotayk, Gegharkunik, Aragatsotn regions of the Republic of Armenia, 8 cases of removal and transfer of the fertile layer of soil were found.
While carrying out earthworks, violating the established procedure for removal and transportation of the top layer of land cover, about 71 cubic meters were illegally transported by trucks of different brands. All the trucks loaded on the slide were taken to the Police station.
Administrative fines were imposed on the detected cases, and a number of materials were sent to law enforcement agencies.
EPMIB once again reminds and warns that the purposeful and effective use of the fertile soil layer must be carried out exclusively in accordance with established procedures, links below:
