A training-seminar directed to the prevention of illegal trade of wild fauna and flora species will be held in Yerevan

The RA Ministry of Nature Protection, Foundation For The Preservation Of Wildlife and Cultural Assets /FPW/ with International Fund For Animal Welfare /IFAW/ organize a training-seminar on thesis usage of “ Convention On International Trade In Endangered Species Of Wild Fauna and Flora” on February 23-27.

The opening ceremony of the seminar will take place at “Nairi” hall of “Ani Plaza” Hotel on February 23, at 9:30 o’clock. First Deputy Minister of Nature Protection Khachik Hakobyan, the director of IFAW’s office in the Russian Federation and in the CIS countries, Maria Vorontsova, the director of FPW Ruben Khachatryan will deliver welcoming speeches.

International Fund For Animal Welfare /IFAW/ implemented seminars of vocational development in the Middle East, Northern Africa, the Caribian, and Asia-Pacific Ocean area, the CIS countries and in other countries.

A-five-day seminar involves theoretical lessons and practical trainings in the RA customs intended for all workers of state institutions directed to the development of their knowledge enhancement and vocational abilities (the RA Ministry of Nature Protection, the RA Ministry of Agriculture, the RA Ministry of Finance, The Yerevan Zoo, etc.) related to importing and exporting process of wild fauna and flora species in Armenia.
