RA Deputy Minister of Nature Protection met with the delegation of Nature Conservation Agency of the Czech Republic (NCA) and Ambassador Peter Mikiska


RA Minister of Nature Protection Khachik Hakobyan received the delegation of Nature Conservation Agency of the Czech Republic (NCA) led by  Frantisek Pelch, accompanied by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Armenia Peter Mikiska. Extending a vote of thanks to the guests, the Deputy Minister set a great store on the mission for which the delegates have arrived to Armenia; the latter will greatly promote the implementation of well-defined clauses of memorandum signed by Armenia alongside the Czech Republic. Kh. Hakobyan recalled the plan of actions for 2017-2018 established in the document; the document outlined definite steps in the spheres of specially protected areas, biodiversity and ecotourism.                 
   Director of Nature Conservation Agency of the Czech Republic (NCA) stressed that they highly appreciate the cooperation along with Armenia and arrangements made especially in environmental sphere. The key objectives of executive departments of nature protection are experience exchange and particular project fulfillment, which will improve the efficiency of environmental preservation. 
Ambassador Peter Mikiska notified that the working group supervised by Frantisek Pelch planned to conduct a visit to ''Zangezur'' Biosphere Complex and ''Dilijan'' national park to get acquainted with conservation regimes, management plans, which will be followed by the development and implementation of concrete projects of the cooperation. The parties agreed on having another meeting next week to consider the outcomes of regional visits.
