To view the most relevant area for the construction of a tourist information centre with updated design solutions and standards on the specially protected areas of nature RA and to hold collective consultations

Deputy Minister of Environment A. Mazmanyan, the officers of “Support Program for Protected Areas-Armenia” project (SPPA-A), the top management of "Jrvezh" forest park in colloboration with the designers, architects and representatives of architectural companies paid a visit to "Jrvezh" forest park of "Reserve Park Complex" SNCO to view the most relevant area for the construction of a tourist information centre with updated design solutions and standards. 
The authors of the draft illustrated the preliminary requirements for the future tourist information centre and the concept, noting that in this phase any proposal, including the proposal to deem a new area can be voiced.

Extending a vote of thanks for the participation, the Deputy Minister assured the participants that all the proposals will be discussed in detail, and in the near future another meeting will be organized with a wider range of specialists, all the necessary changes will be made so that the center meets the best international standards.

Earlier, within the framework of “Support Program for Protected Areas-Armenia” project (SPPA-A), the Ministry of Environment envisages to establish a tourist information centre in "Jrvezh" forest park of "Reserve Park Complex" SNCO with updated design solutions and modern quality standards. An open tender for the design of the centre will be announced in the near future, in which all possible participants meeting the requirements of the tender will have the opportunity to participate.

Afterwards, on the initiative of the Deputy Minister, a tour was organized in the area of the forest park. Drastic, large-scale changes are planned here in a bid to create infrastructures, improve the quality of provided services. The forest park should fully serve the residents of the adjacent communities as a recreation area. The Ministry also anticipates the active involvement of the interested part of the society in this issue.
