The potential of Bulgaria-Armenia cooperation will be accomplished to the maximum


Minister of Nature Protection Erik Grigoryan met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Republic of Armenia Maria Pavlova Tsosorkova-Kaymaktchieva.
 The sides stressed the importance of deepening cooperation in the sphere of environmental protection and outlined the steps to effectively implement the current sectorial potential between the two countries. The issues regarding exchange of experience in the fields of specially protected areas of nature and water resource management were also considered.
Minister Erik Grigoryan advised the Ambassador that the Ministry of Nature Protection conducts a radical change in the policy of environmental payments, based on the principle of environmental pollution prevention, and in this regard, deemed Bulgaria-already applied experience productive.
  As a representative of the EU member state, the Ambassador, too, discussed the issues apropos of  the status of activities of approximation of environmental instructions in the frames of EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA).
