The procedures of goods import were simplified due to changes

At the proposal of the Ministry of Nature Protection, the RA State Revenue Committee simplified the procedures of importing of goods containing ozone depleting substances (ODS). From now on, customs officers will detect the presence of ozone depleting substances at customs checkpoints and will not guide the importers to the Ministry of Nature Protection for the relevant reference.
As a result, legal entities and individuals will no longer have to submit 1500 applications to the Ministry of Nature Protection annually, leaving goods (refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners) at customs checkpoints for several days; they will also be exempted from redundant administration.
