Water abstraction, use and disposal in 2017

In 2017, the water abstraction comprised 2 865.4 mln. cub. m, water use – 2 040.0 mln. cub. m (83.7% - agriculture, fish breeding and forestry, 11% - industry, communal and construction, 5.3% - drinking). Water losses during transit comprised 825.4 mln. cub. m or 28.8% of water abstraction. In 2017 the volume of discharged waste water comprised 550.8 mln. cub. m.

Water use and disposal in 2016

In 2016, the water abstraction comprised 3 181.9 mln. cub. m, water use – 2 469.9 mln. cub. m (89.7 % - agriculture, fish breeding and forestry, 5.9% - industry, communal and construction, 4.4% - drinking). Water losses during transit comprised 712.0 mln. cub. m or 22.4 % of water abstraction. In 2016 the volume of discharged waste water comprised 769.7 mln. cub. m.

Water use and disposal in 2015
In 2015, the water abstraction comprised 3271.7 mln. cub. m, water use – 2 533.1 mln. cub. m (90.1 % - agriculture, fish breeding and forestry, 6.1% - industry, communal and construction, 3.8 % - drinking). Water losses during transit comprised 738.6 mln. cub. m or 22. 6 % of water abstraction. In 2015 the volume of discharged waste water comprised 810.8 mln. cub. m.

Lake Sevan

Minimum prices of release (sale) of accumulated timber for 1 cubic meter (AMD excluding VAT), as a result of cleaning works of forest plantations of Lake Sevan covered by water
