Notifying the children and parents about protecting from ultraviolet dangerous rays
Ahead of the summer, the Ministry of Nature Protection of RA has undertaken a number of initiatives dedicated to the dangers of ultraviolet rays of the sun, the necessity of protecting from them and their methods. The target groups of the initiatives are regarded the children aged 1 to 14 years, taking into consideration their ultimate exposure to ultraviolet rays.

On the occasion of Ecologist’s Day the workers of “Dilijan” national park SNCO conducted an environmental lesson and a trip in “Yew Grove” reserve for 22 pupils of Hagharcin school. The issues related to climate change and environmental impacts on children’s health are spotlighted
In the course of the meeting of Minister of Nature Protection Erik Grigoryan with Representative of the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) in Armenia Tanya Radocha and UNICEF Education Program Coordinator Tigran Tovmasyan considered the issues concerning the most vulnerable groups of the society: global climate change and environmental impacts on children’s health.
On the basis of the call that was voiced in an article entitled “A Call from Tavoush: Ashot Yeritsyan continues his destructive attitude towards the forest” published in “Haynews.am” website on May 30, 2018, the Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body of the Ministry of Nature Protection held an inspection in the above mentioned areas on the same day, as a result of which, it turned out that currently there was legally kept about 27m3 wood in the three factories manufacturing boxes.
“Environmental Projects Implementation Unit” State Institution of the Ministry of Nature Protection of RA invites the following specialists: agronomist, hydro engineer, civil engineer, grower and cartographer to cooperate in developing ''PFG for strengthening land based adaptation capacity in communities adjacent to protected areas in Armenia'' approved by Adaptation Fund.
